CTI Announces Release of V2.00 Firmware Upgrade for 2500P-JACP Janus Application Co-Processor

CTI is pleased to announce the release of V2.00 firmware for 2500P-JACP Janus Application Co-Processor Module on August 17, 2026.  This is a major release with significant bug fixes and enhancements including: 

• New networking design to prepare for future PROFINET
• Resolved issues from Technical Advisories Block Transfer Driver Sometimes Misses Updates (June 26, 2024) and Problems Restarting from Power Loss (July 28, 2025)
• Problems with CAMP Server reading certain C bits
• Problems with online change
• Problems re-establishing Data Cache connection after network disconnection

Because the new firmware makes significant changes to the networking design, it is IMPERATIVE that you read the 2500P-JACP Networking Setup Guide BEFORE upgrading your JACP firmware. Start with the flowcharts on pp19-21.

As always, to take advantage of the new firmware, you must also upgrade your Janus Workbench Software (“JSoft”) to the latest release of V2.18 (your license must have an expiration date LATER than 17 August 2026).  Download the latest version of JSoft HERE.
