CTI is announcing the maturity of the 2500P-ACP1 Application Coprocessor.
This product is directly replaced by the 2500P-JACP Janus Application Coprocessor which has higher performance and many new features, including operation with Simatic 545/555 processors using a new Block Transfer Driver. Applications which use the “CTI 2500P-ACP1 I/O” driver will need to have the configuration converted to use the new Block Transfer driver instead. This process takes only a few minutes in Janus Workbench Software (“JSoft”). See our Tech Tip for guidance on migrating applications from 2500P-ACP1 to 2500P-JACP.
