The 2572-DDS2 DDE Server is a Microsoft Windows compatible program that allows DDE client applications to access data stored in 2500 Series® PLCs. The server communicates via TCP/IP to a 2572, 2572-A, 2572-AF, 2572-B, 2500C-2572-B, 2500P-ECC1, 2500C-ECC1, or 505-CP2572 TCP/IP Ethernet Adapter module installed in the PLC rack. NOTE: 2572-DDS2 IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR WINDOWS VERSIONS AFTER WINDOWS XP, AND IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR WONDERWARE VERSIONS ABOVE V8.0. FOR COMMUNICATIONS SERVERS FOR WINDOWS 7 AND WONDERWARE 9 OR ABOVE, WE RECOMMEND CHANGING TO CTI 2500-OPC KEPWARE KEPSERVEREX.  IMPORTANT NOTE: 2572-DDS2 IS MATURE AND SHOULD NOT BE USED ON NEW DESIGNS.  IT IS REPLACED BY KEPSERVEREX FROM KEPWARE.
